Our fully functioning synagogue offers minyanim and social events.
We are also the hub for community meetings and a venue for other community organisations.

2026 - UHC Newcastle remains at the same address, but now occupies its new premises in Lionel Jacobson House, which is adjacent to the now demolished former synagogue building.
2026 - We welcome our new Rabbi, Dovid Fhima, and his wife. Rabbi Fhima was born in France and studied in Israel, Gateshead and London. As well as being the new rabbi for our community he is also the Jewish Chaplain for students at Newcastle and Durham universities.
